PRACTICAL MINISTRIES

Monthly 1 to 2 day courses will be scheduled to equip the pastor and other church leadership in both the Tulsa and Oklahoma City areas.  Watch this page for intensive courses for the future in which (Continuing Education Units) will be awarded.  Meridian University is an approved ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) provider.  Typically, one CEU may be earned at each intensive course.

Past intensive courses have included:

• Expository Preaching with Dr. Steven Smith, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and Dr. Tom Elliff, former Pastor and President of the Southern Baptist Convention
• Church Growth with Dr. Thom Rainer and Dr. Chuck Lawless, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary
• The Book of Daniel (A Study in Prophecy) with Dr. J. R. Church, Prophecy in the News
• Discipleship with Dr. Max Barnett, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and former Baptist Collegiate Ministries Director at Oklahoma University
• Managing Ministry Fatigue with Joe Williams, FBI Chaplain having worked with the Murrah Building Bombing survivors and the 9/11 World Trade Center rescuers
