ASSOCIATES & BACHELOR DEGREES

Meridian is able to provide accredited courses through its partnership with Oklahoma Baptist University. Individuals may earn credit toward an associate degree or a bachelor’s degree at OBU. Diplomas and certificates are also offered. A new and fresh approach to training is being implemented. If students cannot come to a central campus, we will take classes to them where they are, where they serve, where they work, and where they live. MTI centers and classes will eventually be established throughout the entire state of Oklahoma.

Phase 1       Starting with a center in Sapulpa, Oklahoma at the First Baptist Church, Meridian will start courses this fall, 2007, in the church facilities. Dr. Michael Shaw, Vice President of Meridian University of Biblical Training, will serve as the Director. This will be the primary campus for Meridian’s Ministry Training Institute.

 

 Phase 2       Other centers and class locations throughout the Tulsa Metro will be established. This can happen as early as this fall, 2007. Efforts are now underway to provide numerous locations to allow students a larger selection of courses within an easy commute distance.

 

Phase 3       Centers and classes will be organized throughout northeastern Oklahoma, and then throughout the entire state and as opportunities arise, centers and classes will be expanded to neighboring states. It is the goal to offer online courses as soon as our geographical classes are operating well.
